Contemplative Photography

- Exploring Everyday moments of quiet reflection

Contemplative photography is a practice that combines mindfulness and contemplative awareness with the art of photography.

It emphasises the delicate present moment and involves slowing down, observing with intention, and allowing images to reveal themselves naturally - rather than forcing compositions.

The goal is not just to create aesthetically pleasing photographs, but to cultivate a sense of awareness and appreciation for the world around us.

Anna is a contemplative artist using a range of practices, including photography, soundscapes, poetry and creative prose to explore themes of impermanence, interconnectedness, the wisdom of nature’s grace, and our profound relationship with place.  All photos featured here are by Anna.
